Happy New Year, everybody! Sorry we’ve been so MIA over here. Nonetheless, thank you for all the incredible love and support you showed Dujeous in 2009. From “Break Bread” to No Clearance to “Spectacular,” you guys were with us every step of the way. And 2010 is gonna be even better: a new album finally dropping, more new music to follow, new videos in the works, new tour dates in new places. But it all starts this Friday, January 8th, with a show in NYC. We’ll be joined by two other dope hip-hop bands, Riot in Paris and Metrosonics. Riot in Paris, produced by beatmaker extraordinaire and Dujeous fam Devo Springsteen (John Legend, Kanye, Nas), are a brash rock-rap hybrid; Metrosonics, helmed by our old friend guitarist/MC Paul Josephs, mashes together those genres and more with top-notch musicianship and mind-bending poetry. Plus the homie Smoke DZA will be making a special appearance, rocking his underground smash “Marley and Me.” Check some behind-the-scenes footage for that video, featuring Currensy, Devin the Dude and Asher Roth right here.
