I don’t know about you, but I am already sick of this Bruno character and his movie just came out this weekend. It feels like all of the viral marketing for the film is  a little too much, but apparently it has been working because Bruno was the number one movie at the box office this weekend, raking in about $30 million. Well, I guess I’m only fueling the fire with this, but here’s what Bruno (Sacha Baron Cohen) had to say about the MTV Movie Awards prank with Eminem.

“Well, Eminem behaved like a total bitch. I mean, he pretended like he’d never 69′d a guy before. The reality was, when I was down there with my [butt] in his face and my head between his thighs, I felt something poking my cheek, and I felt why he was actually called Slim Shady. I felt that Slim was getting a little fat.”

Seth Rogan, Adam Sandler, and Jonah Hill star in Judd Apatow’s latest film Funny People set to hit theaters July 31st with a special guest appearance by rap superstar Eminem. We haven’t seen Em on the big screen since his unoffical bio-pic 8 Mile back in 2002; and after seeing the staged stunt with Bruno at the MTV Movie awards, I think we can expect an entertaining and comedic performance by Mr. Slim Shady.
