I can't figure out their criteria for the list.

Like, if Fight The Power changed the landscape of Hip-Hop the MOST in Hip Hop, then why is Hard Knock Life & Get Ur Freak On in the top 20? What changed after those songs dropped? Jackshit.

If they said Missy's In The Rain it would keep that string of importance since that video made Missy a supertar and a lotta videos bit the crazy visuals from that, but those visuals were a bite of Busta's Hype Williams videos anyway...Fuck VH1.

is this list really serious. I would think that Juicy would be in the top 5, I honestly can not believe that the people who voted for this list really had Fight the power as number one! This list is a damn shame, since I could make a better one than the people and Vh1

I don't agree that songs less than 5 years should be in the top 100 list, and I can't live without my radio should have pushed top 10

well I believe that when it comes to the list that VH1 had an online poll with a bunch of songs and these were the songs that were voted top 100 by VH1 fans... honestly if the list was done on BET it would have been different and most of the songs would not be on the list. but can;t blame VH1, they have a strong tie with Flava Flav...

i guess if you have years of show behind some crazy ass dude, and it's VH1 viewers voting and they watch Flavor of Love over and over again, They'll probably vote for him.
