Synopsis: Set after the original film [The Fast and The Furious] but before 2Fast 2Furious, the latest in the franchise tells the story of Dom (Diesel) on the run from the law and hiding out in the Dominican Republic. When a common enemy arises, Brian (Walker) must once again team up with the fugitive ex-con in order to take down a murderous drug lord.

Review: When I heard that the main characters of the original The Fast and The Furious movie were reuniting for a sequel, I was excited, and I even gave it the benefit of the doubt that it might actually be pretty good. I was wrong. While Fast and Furious has a few moments where it resembles the quality of its predecessor, it’s mainly just an hour and a half of terrible acting and over the top car chases. The characters did not have the same personalities as the first film and I felt that I could not connect with them as I did in the original. Granted the acting was absolutely terrible, and I kind of expected that, but I thought at least the story or the car chases would be interesting. But, I was wrong again. I had no idea what was happening at some points in the film. Racing through an old mine shaft underneath the American-Mexican border seemed a little far fetched to me. I just wanted to see some good old-fashioned street racing, but instead, I got digitally created desert/mine-shaft “racing”. And I thought it couldn’t get worse than Tokyo Drift; I was wrong, again. Fast and Furious is now available on DVD and Blu-ray.
