Mojo kills it onstage with Delta Down Under

From the desk of Dujeous bassist/producer Apex Tech, 5/28/2009

Too much going on this week, so we’ll just hit you with everything real quick.

DUJ x CBS

Dujeous recently scored some powerful films about the recession by youth filmmakers backed up by the Tribeca Film Institute. CBS Sunday Morning did a 10-minute segment on the films, and a whole lot of our music hit the airwaves. We can’t get the damn video to embed, so click here to watch via CBS.

To check out the uncut films in entirety, click here.

DUJ x DJBOOTH.net

DJBooth.net, which is a dope site yall are hopefully already up on, released In the Booth Vol. 1 yesterday. They’ve been dropping exclusive freestyles from dope up-and-coming artists every week, and this mixtape contains weeks 1 through 31. We did “Shuttle Bus” featuring Jigsaw the Puzzler, clocking in at track 8. Click here to download In the Booth for free.

MOJO x DELTA DOWN UNDER

As you already know, Dujeous’ own Mojo the Cinematic is on tour Down Under with Australian MC Delta to promote the release of Delta’s new album, The 2nd Story, which features several vocal, instrumental and production contributions from Dujeous. The picture up top is from their show Melbourne last Friday. Click here to watch some video footage of the show via Youtube (damn you, HTML).

EXCLUSIVE

Speaking of Mojo, he recently collaborated with Ironhorse Music Group on their new release, The Aqua League presents: The Repositioning. Mo kills it on “Easy.” Click here to download the entire project for free.

CONGRATS TO THE GUY x FREE DOWNLOAD!

Super-huge shouts to Dujeous trumpeter Dave Guy and his long-time wifey Dewie for taking things to the next level! In celebration of the event, we’re lacing you with a free download from our last mixtape, No Clearance. This track, “The More You Find Out,” which jacks The Budos Band, features the Guy going *IN* something serious on the horn (pause just in case). Download it here:

The Next Chapter

Minute After Midnight, my debut was the first part of a trilogy and The Breakfast Club is meant to pick up where the last one left off,” explains Donny. (more…)
